Well, so far so good, for the fist day of my intermittent fasting diet. Yes, I know, it's early yet. A few hours still to go before I can ring the bells and put a self satisfied grin on my face. But I'm pretty confident that I can do it.
Up at about 6 am this morning, with only a cup of green tea and a bowl of fruit to keep my belly happy. I was planning to consume my entire daily ration of 600 calories in one go, thinking that that was how it was supposed to be done, but after further research I have discovered that you can divide the fasting day's allowance up into multiple meals. So I am having fruit for breakfast and poached eggs on toast for tea, I am also going to fit a coffee into the day, somewhere. And, with all that, I am still under 600 calories.
